The 10th International Adana Veteran Table Tennis Tournament, one of the most prestigious organizations in Turkey, will be held from March 11-12, 2023.

The chairman of the tournament committee, Kemal Sağ, stated that the traditionally held Adana Veteran Table Tennis Tournament is one of the most important organizations with wide participation in Turkey, saying: “Dear Veteran Table Tennis Player Friends, Adana Veteran Table Tennis Tournament March 11-12, 2023 (Saturday-Sunday) with the contribution of ÇİLTAR MTİ Club, Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and Çukurova University. It will be held at SAKIP SABANCI SPORTS and EXHIBITION PALACE. One of the main needs of Turkey’s largest city is the brand organization in table tennis. One of the brand organizations that will contribute to both the national and international promotion of Adana is the Veterans Table Tennis Tournament.

ÇİLTAR Adana Table Tennis Club President Dr. Ali Türemiş said, “It should be noted that this expanded organization is an incredible promotion opportunity for Adana. Exactly 16 years after Botaşspor, our table tennis club became champion in the Super League. Table tennis does not receive sufficient support. I hope that local authorities will be more sensitive from now on and will provide the necessary support. “Everyone should have table tennis,” he said.
Participation conditions:
The tournament is open to anyone over the age of 30 (including those born in 1993) who can provide a sports license or medical report.
.The participation fee is 450,- TL/ 25,-€.
The matches are held as male-female singles, male-female doubles and mixed.
Age categories:
Men’s Singles: 30-39 (VH)*, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Single Women: 30-39 (FH)*, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Men’s Doubles: 30-39 (VH)*, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Women’s Doubles: 30-49, 50+
Mixed : 30-49, 50+
Remark: There must be at least 4 players in a group. If there are fewer players, they will be merged into the lower/higher group. Participants compete in their own age categories in individual categories, in pairs they compete in the category of the young person. There will be no contest for third place. Cups are given to 1st place winners in their category, medals are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners and medals are given to 1st place winners in consolation matches.
Opportunities offered to participants:
· Complimentary Adana kebabs are served for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
· Tournament specific t-shirts and various promotions,
Free ice cream, tea, coffee, water, cezerye, hot ring dessert, popcorn and turnip juice will be served during the tournament.
Free transportation between the hotel and the hall for those staying in the hotels, on Saturdays at 1pm, in front of the gym, with vehicles to leave, (Adana Archaeological Museum will be visited.)

08:15: Departure from the hotel and registration for the tournament,
9:30am: Opening ceremony and photo shoot,
10:00 am: start of the matches,
The starting time of the games on Sunday is 09:00 AM.
Order of matches; men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed. Depending on the number of participants in the categories, the aim is to start all categories at the same time in accordance with the division of the tables.
Remark: On Friday, March 10, the hall will be open between 5 and 7 p.m. for participants who want to train.
