The party at Mithat Özsan Amphitheatre, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of the national anthem, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Meryem Tuncel, Secretary General Dr. Mehmet Cingöz, academics and students were present.

Giving the opening speech of the party, Çukurova University Rector Prof. Dr. Meryem Tuncel said that they care about the activities organized to revive the tradition of minstrelsy, which is part of our culture and identity. prof. dr. Tuncel said: “In addition to the scientific and academic development of our students; We also bring them together with numerous social, cultural and artistic activities to enable them to better understand and consolidate their cultural identity. I would particularly like to point out that some of these activities are organized by our student clubs, which makes us even happier. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Clean Turkish Club and our University Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center.” said.

Department Head of Radio, Television and Film, Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Sümbül and President of the Clean Turkish Club, Selahattin Öztürk, also provided information on the tradition of minstrelsy and the studies on this subject.
