feasibility project; Although it is planned to start from Akdeğirmen Bridge in Karataş Kızıltahta district on the Ceyhan River, 4.5 is the terminus. It was determined as the historic raft area at km. It is stated that the main problem with the feasibility is that the company can make a profit with the realization of the project in the second year. Other factors that stood out in the feasibility were the development of water sports in the region, the development of sports tourism with a project and the creation of a new alternative for accommodation and tourism activities in the region.

Karataş Mayor Necip Topuz made a statement about the project; “In Karataş, which has a coastline of about 70 km, has a sea, three lagoon lakes and two rivers such as the Seyhan and the Ceyhan, it has been a major shortcoming that no water sports activities have been developed. I believe that with our feasibility study, Karataş will have a new face in the field of water sports and will play an important role in preparing the infrastructure that can accommodate local and national competitions. The first phase of the feasibility project was prepared with a track of 4.5 km. With the implementation of the project we do want to expand the tracks to 10-20 and 40 km. With the preparation of the project area as the region with the longest canoe course in Turkey, we have also laid the foundation for the events where we can host international organizations. The project is a first step project for us. Believing that it can attract the attention of investors, we will continue to work towards the realization of the project by both finding funds and working with investors to take this first step forward.
