TALENT PİANISTS TO DISCOVER IN ADANA


Rhapsody Adana Piano Festival and Competition, traditionally created by the State Conservatory of the University of Çukurova (CU) and held for the 4th time this year, will take place from January 24-29.

The chairman of the committee of the festival and competition organized by Çukurova University State Conservatory, Prof. Ulviyya Güler is responsible. The committee, in which jury members from Turkey and Europe are selected, also include teachers from the CU State Conservatory.

prof. Güler: “Our goal is to support talented pianists”

Commenting on the organization, Prof. Ülviyye Güler said that they have completed the three major organizations in the best way and are well prepared for the 4th organization this year.

“Information about the festival and competition from January 24-29 can be found on the website ‘rhapsody.cu.edu.tr’. All stages and the organization of the competition are held by the Çukurova University State Conservatory. As a competition committee, our goal and desire is to bring together young talented pianists who study piano or lead an active artistic life, both abroad and throughout Turkey. To strengthen artistic connections. Creating a meeting and sharing space with national and international piano teachers. Finding the best piano music techniques and promoting classical piano music as an important part of the cultural education of the younger generation. In fact, supporting talented pianists at the start of their careers, interacting with each other and providing the opportunity and foundation for their vision to develop.”
Festival and competition last 6 days

“Çukurova University 4th International Rhapsody Adana Piano Festival and Eat Competition will take place at Çukurova University between January 24-29 and will run for a total of 6 days. We plan the competition and festival flow as follows. The festival category, which is open to students who take piano training as a hobby for the first two days, becomes the competition category for young musicians who follow professional piano training for the remaining 4 days, the names of the young musicians who will be entered into the competition on the last day announced and then the award ceremony will take place. Certificates of participation in the festival and competition will be presented to all participants at the award ceremony. The contest ends with the live performances of the contestants entitled to first place.

“We have received hundreds of pianists from different countries so far”
“We have hosted hundreds of participants around the world in Adana so far. We had participants from Bulgaria, Russia, Austria, Ukraine, Mexico, Bolivia, Germany, China, Azerbaijan, Georgia and other countries. Our aim is to bring together young talents from all over the world and introduce Adana as a city that values culture and art. State artist Gülsin Onay, Prof. Eser Bilgeman, Prof. Kamerhan Turhan, Assoc. Gokhan Aybulus, Assoc. Emre Elivar and Dr. Cem Babacan will participate as a judge. Various masterclasses and recitals will also take place during the festival.”
